Calcium and Diameter: Blood Vessels
We have equipped the Ionoptix Calcium and Contractility: Myocytes system for simultaneous measurements of pressurized blood vessel fluorescence and diameter. By visualizing the blood vessel on the microscope, Ionoptix' edge detection software, SoftEdge, can track the outside and/or inside diameter of the blood vessel from the digitized frame while simultaneously recording fluorescence, most commonly from calcium probes. Using our interface box, the FSI, and a system that allows the pressurization of microvessels, systems that are sold by Danish Myotechnology or Living Systems, we can provide real-time recording of all vessel myograph outputs, including pressure, force, temperature and pH, as well as calcium and diameter. We'll work with the manufacturer your myograph system to provide an integrated workstation capable of precise, synchronized data acquisition.
