FHD Microscope Chamber System
The FHD Microscope Chamber System is a newly designed chamber system to perfuse and stimulate cardiac myocytes that are studied on the microscope. The FHD chamber system uses simple disposable 25mm coverslips making it ideal for use with both freshly isolated and cultured cells. A key design feature, this chamber uses a silicone insert to seal the chamber… no messy grease, no sticky epoxies. Simply insert the coverslip and close the chamber’s lid. This chamber is designed to be easy to use.
The FHD superfusion chamber system can be combined with the a feedback temperature controller and heater and an acute field stimulator (MyoPacer or MyoPacer EP) for pacing your cells during experimentation at the appropriate physiologic temperature.
- A hinged lid that includes all the paraphernalia of solution line, solution height adjustment, ground wires, and platinum stimulation wires.
- A molded silicone insert forming the flow area of the chamber. This insert is available in a variety of designs and is easily replaced, exchanged, and cleaned.
- Rapid exchange of cover slips. For those researchers using cells cultured or plated on 25mm cover slips. The chamber offers effortless insertion of fresh slips with only a twist of the lid lock required.
