IonOptix Video Tutorials: Murine Cardiomyocyte Isolation

Isolated cardiomyocytes represent the smallest fully functional model system of heart muscle and are of particular importance to the study of cardiovascular disease. In this video tutorial, we describe some of the trickier aspects of a typical Langendorff-based murine cardiomyocyte isolation, including stereoscopic video footage of the aortic cannulation as well as what to look for when digesting the heart.

Written protocol and solutions linked below the video.
