Diameter and Flow Measurements in Pressurized Vessels

Vessel Diameter and Flow System

Vessel Diameter and Flow System

IonOptix is proud to offer turn-key systems for dimensioning measurements of cannulated blood vessels. Since our inception in 1990, we’ve been manufacturing scientific instruments for real-time data acquisition. Our dimensioning systems began as a collaborative effort with leading cardiovascular researchers in 1992.

Our Vessel Diameter System includes a digital CCD-based video system, an A/D interface for synchronizing arteriograph outputs, and a vessel-specific software suite (VesAcq and FloAcq) for visualizing and acquiring vessel outer diameter, luminal diameter, and wall thickness, as well as indices of vessel flow. We will work with the manufacturer your myograph system to provide an integrated workstation capable of precise, synchronized data acquisition. Using our DSI interface box and a system manufactured by DMT or Living Systems that allows the pressurization of microvessels, we can provide real-time recording of all vessel myograph outputs, including pressure, force, temperature and pH, as well as calcium and diameter. We can interface our system with an existing microscope or supply the microscope as part of the system.

As with all of our systems, we stand behind our products. We offer optional installation and training on our Vessel Diameter Systems. When we install our systems we use your preparations to help get you started as quickly as possible. And when you need assistance we offer unlimited phone and email support for the lifetime of your system.
