This methods video describes the measurement of calcium handling and contractility of human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs), demonstrating its utility in assessing function in response to compound treatment.
For calcium and contractility data acquisition and analysis, the authors utilized their IonOptix CytoCypher MultiCell System equipped with CytoMotion for iPSC-CM calcium and contractility measurements and CytoSolver for analysis.
