Acquiring contractility kinetics in human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) derived cardiomyocytes can be especially challenging given their amorphous phenotype and poorer contrast relative to adult ventricular cardiomyocytes. We’ve made it simple.

CytoMotion Lite is a low-cost, simplified solution for contractility measurements in spontaneously beating myocytes without accompanying fluorescence data. Consisting of a high speed, high resolution CMOS camera and our CytoMotion acquisition for precise characterization of shortening kinetics, and without the need for an interface or photometry components, CytoMotion offers high performance at an affordable price. All you need is a microscope with a camera port and an i7 processor-based laptop (which we can provide as well).
